Residents of Kongsberg left flowers and candles at a memorial set up to pay tribute to the victims of the bow and arrow attack in the Danish town, on Thursday.

Five people were killed and three more were injured after the 37-year-old apprehended suspect Espen Andersen Braathen attacked them on Wednesday.

"It is very sad, it is hard to explain how this is happening in such a small town in Norway," says Ellen, one of the residents.

The crime is now being investigated as an act of terror, according to the police.
