Emergency services were on site in Kongsberg one day after five people were killed and two were injured in a bow and arrow attack.

Kongsberg police chief Oeyvind Aas stated, authorities believe ‘the attack was carried out by a man in different parts of the city’.

A 37-year-old Danish man has been arrested and charged, though police are yet to disclose what charges he will be facing.

Authorities said they are not ruling out that it may have been a terrorist attack, as it is too early to say what the perpetrator’s motivation had been.

An investigation is currently underway.
